The acclaimed Brokeback Mountain has not only diminished barriers for gay themes in film, but it has also influenced hipster street style.

Jessica Simpson caused many of us the cowboy blues by ruining fashion staples such as cowboy boots and daisy dukes. Luckily Gyllenhaal’s have the adverse reaction that Simpson’s have, and are actually able to make something cool. Thanks Jake With every L stop I pass I can’t help but notice a plaid snap front shirt here and a cowboy boot there.
