I was paging through the latest
Lucky magazine (one of my favorite ways to unwind) and I realized how much I love Lauren Moffatt’s work. Her dresses are so soft and femme feeling. They mix a sense of romance with a modern sensibility. Check out more of her styles on her
site.

You always post such interesting photos! Would you know where I could find a tent/trapeze dress pattern? I haven’t seen anything with McCall’s or Simplicity, etc., but they’re are notoriously way behind in the fashion trends. Do you think I’ll have to go with a maternity pattern? The artisan tops you posted previously are beautiful!

Built by Wendy just started a pattern collection, which is a refreshing change from the ‘missy’ shapes that are so prevalent at the fabric store.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I was in the Barney’s Co-Op in Georgetown the other day and I just gravitated to the Moffatt rack. I was thumbing through all of her beautiful samples just admiring as I went! i couldn’t help myself..everything was so delicate.

I actually put one of those silly Lucky ‘Maybe/Buy It!’ stickers on this page because I loved how light & pretty the clothes looked. I’m glad I’m not the only one.
