Forever 21…forever

The other day I ventured out to the mall…yes I actually went into a mall (gasp!). The one and only reason was to go on a shopping mission to Forever 21. Above are two of my finds from the excursion. Shopping at Forever 21 is a little habit that I just can’t kick after getting hooked on the shop in midtown (NY). I used to be such an H&M sort of girl, but these days Forever 21 seems to fit my needs best. Their quick interpretations of Topshop and the catwalks have a higher-end sensiblitiy compared to H&M. My trick to pulling off the looks is to size up. I tend to be a small in most shops, but I opt for mediums and larges which helps the pieces look more designer-y. Which store do you all prefer, Forever 21 or H&M?

i found some really great denim at forever 21 on sunday. one pair of black jeans with zippers at the bottom - totally 1988 - and a pair of grey jeans with cute pockets on them. i also got some great red platform wedge shoes to wear with aforementioned denim.
they have great stuff…you just have to hunt for it!

FOREVER 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of course.
They “interpret” things much faster than any other store does, and it doesn’t hurt the wallet either.

forever 21…i feel like their materials are a little better and the styles are usually closer to the things i like!

That’s really tough. The teeny boppers at Forever 21? I hate the shopping experience there even though I can find lot of things.

Totally Forever 21. Forever.

I actually prefer H&M, but then again they don’t have Forever21 in Finland and I’ve only been there a couple of times. (Coming out with bags and bags full of clothes, nonetheless). H&M seems to have more ’scene’ or ‘hipster’ sort of fashion, and I think Forever21 leans more toward ‘pretty’. But maybe that’s just the phase I’m in at the moment, and I don’t know about H&M in the states. Probably most of my clothes are from H&M, but I do have that same dress.

Well, I like Forever 21, but I was there just once. Because here in Switzerland I dosn’t have it. So I shop most in H&M, but I have to say, that the last times I was in it, I didn’t like the clothes that much. But I hope, now I’ll be better!!

I love F21! It seems that the only clothes I get complimented on are the ones from that store. Either that speaks positively about F21’s clothes or just means the rest of my wardrobe is crap.
I like H&M but I can never find my size.

i love them both. in downtown san francisco, they are across the street from each other so i usually make my rounds when i go down there.

H&M and Forever21 are across the street from each other in my town. it’s like a battle. H&M is new to southern California so I always thought of H&M as a european store. Now we have both. F21 fabric on most things is such bad quality that it’s not worth it to buy stuff from there anymore. Everything shrinks dramatically or falls apart after a few washes. It’s disposable fashion to me. I guess it’s alright if you like trends and don’t care about quality. I kind of like H&M styles better…kinda funkier.

The only time I went to a brick & mortar Forever 21 was in S.F. (if only they’d open a flagship store downtown, near where I live). Most of the women were much older than me, actually killing any insecurity I had about shopping there. I was much more pleased by the *tons* of stuff they had compared to H&M, the quality was in some instances better, in some instances worse, but always always always much cheaper.

There’s Topshop, Zara, Gap and Forever 21(to name a few) in Malaysia. But no H&M, at least not yet. I lquite ike Forever 21 because I can always find something interesting there at affordable prices when compared to the other said brands. Unfortunately, it lacks in quality and fit. I guess that explains the price?

Forever 21!!!!
It’s sad that they don’t have one in the center city.

Forever 21 makes me happy. the clothes are so cheap they are
disposable so no guilt involved. i hate traveling to the MALL to go though…wish there was one in downtown philly.

I have been a die hard fan of H & M for a long time. But i did start to venture into F21 a bit in the past year - and I LOVE IT! I think the quality and “disposable clothing” mentality apply to both stores - but geez do i love shopping there. They are just always on point, and if not then wait a couple of weeks and a whole new slew of inventory floods the shelves. Fashion for All!

when I was in germany, H&M was my favourite. Recently, we have Forever 21 in Kuala Lumpur malaysia. Sadly to say, despite their beautiful choices, they sales girls and staff there at ONE UTAMA shopping mall sucks! They are cold and rude. I was trying to lodge a complaint online but cant seem to find any links to it. I guess there was no point complaining to any of the senior staff there yesterday cos they were all equally rude and unfriendly!.
BAD SHOPPING EXPERIENCE…
