Here are some of my favorite highlights from Fruits magazine. It’s a magazine, same concept as Fruits the book, just current. I picked it up while we were at Colette, although it seems silly to pay for street style pics with the advent of facehunter, here is their site if you want a subscription…I’ve always been a fan of layers, but I especially love all these looks because they are so Victorian inspired. My most favorite of the above images is the upper left, I love the chunks of yarn she has wrapped around her neck. This image caused me to have a very inspired purchase at Vanves of some strange crochet chunk that will make a lovely necklace in the summertime.
The Fruits books seem to feature so much punky/ neon rave styles that these neutral looks really surprised me. How lovely! The magazine certainly seems worth the purchase. . . I think I’m going to need to subscribe!
America’s finally doing the new-rave thing in full force..funny, because Japan has been at that neon style for ages and it appears they’ve upped us again with all of these mellow muted colors..This style seems even more futuristic to me and more advanced. American designers..take note..
