Is the head wrap here to stay???

I took some time this morning to take a closer look at the Chloe show and realized that the models were sporting the latest trend, head wraps. I like the idea of this look, but when a friend asked me to wear one for a recent fashion shoot I instantly refused. What do you think, will you wear it or not?

Oh yes! I’ve already worn it out and about a few times. The look recieves mixed reviews, but I felt fabulous.

When I was going through the shows, I saveed the scarf picture in my lookbook. I have a ton of scarves but usually wear them around my neck. Would I wear a scarf this way? I’d have to experiment. I wouldn’t wear the fur top it’s paired with, though, unless it was fake fur.

BTW, Karen Walker’s show had headscarves, sort of in a 1950s way.

i totally rocked and felt awesome. the woman who sold me magazines, however, thought i was from a foreign land

i like the way they look, but there’s the practical problem of keeping them from slipping around and off, especially with silk scarves. having to constantly adjust your headscarf takes away from the Coolness Effect–maybe they’re better for people with curlier, less-slippery hair.

i love the idea of them…i def. look like i’m from a foreign land as well…but my biggest complaint is the slipping off the head!

I wear head scarves a ton, but never in this style. I might have to try it out and home & get back to you…

i like the “urban turban” (a la prada) a little more. they’re easier to keep on your head and frame the face a little better. i’m working up the nerve to wear one.
