Anna Sui gave these t-shirts as a part of the goodie bags at her Spring 08 show. The shirt bears the faces of Don and Jin Chang, the owners of Forever 21. The shirt says, “thou shalt not steal”. I love it.

did you know that anthro, harijuku lovers, diane von fursterberg, various textile studios and anna sui are all suing forever 21 over copywright infringement/bad business practice/etc?

well if she wants to play that card there’s a shitload of stuff to be said about the conditions of the workers who actually make these kind of products…..i wonder, if they had the same big money lawyers and connections, if they would still be working in those conditions
i’m not saying that i’m anti-luxury goods. i’d love to have a stack of DvF dresses, or a Betsey Johnson bag, etc, but i think it’s ridiculous all these luxury houses are getting all up in arms about this f21 business. they abuse animals/people for their economic gain; how hard is it to deal with if someone abuses intellectual property for the same gain? Maybe they should take the plank out of their eye first.
