Winter in Philadelphia is bitter. And, since I love to walk to work (it’s a 5 minute walk to the studio), and I must walk Joe our dog, venturing outside is a must. So, I’m on the hunt for a long down coat. It’s actually hard to find a full length down coat for some reason (Brooklyn Industries used to make one that was really ugly, but looked warm, but I haven’t found it anywhere on the web). So, it seems as though Bluefly has a decent selection of down coats.
And,
long leather gloves are another must-have. These will keep out the draft in the wrist-cuff region, and they are cashmere lined which is a major plus.
And, a trapper hat. There is a really odd website,
furhatworld.com, which has an amazing range of trapper style hats.
I just picked up these shortcut booties from Madewell.
And, this basket weave cardigan, it’s so fluffy and soft.
