One of my favorite purchases during the soldes (sales), was a Sandro sweater.  It’s lovely, and keeps me nice and warm.  Here are a bunch of Sandro’s looks for Spring.
More rolled shorts (shown above)…

These little suede booties were all the rage too.  I snatched a pair too, mine have a higher heel, I love how they have a very slight western feel but are not costume-y at all.

I love these jeans, I tried a pair of old Levis that were distressed like these at Urban, but alas, they look best on those that are tall and slim.

The droopy pants were one trend I couldn’t really embrace.  It just seems silly to make ones legs look shorter than they are.  Although I do love the plaid tops in these shots.

So, we are back from Paris.  It was a great trip, I always love being in Paris for Valentines Day.  I’ll be posting some pictures from our trip soon.  The biggest apparel trend we came across was rolled up denim.  Almost every store window featured this boyfriend looking jean cropped with basic tops.

I’ve been a huge fan of French designer Isabel Marant for years, her look is so chic and casual.  These looks are from her spring show that just hit the runway.  It’s really inspiring to see a high end line that can apply to streetwear.

Being in Paris always makes me want a whole new wardrobe..but given the exchange rate it’s safer for my bank statment if I wait until I get home.  So, here are a few essentials that are similar to my Paris cravings.  Above are a pair of Fornarina boots from Urban Outfitters.

We went out to Liza (14 rue de la Banque, Paris) for dinner our last night in Paris.  It was so beautiful in their interior and the food was wonderful.  The food is Lebanese with a French influence, I had the lamb comfit.

Love it or Hate it??? Furry Vests…

Isabel Marant is my all time favorite designer. Every time I go to Paris, I schedule my first day around making a trip to her store. The above image is an Isabel Marant ad from a French magazine. The most common high-street trend I saw was the furry vest. It’s kind of a weird trapper-chic look. I’m not a fur person (I only wear it if it’s vintage), what do you think? Love it or Hate it?

Shopping at Colette…

I spied these gun rulers while shopping at Colette, (these rulers can also be purchased at Atypyk) Colette is an awesome concept shop near the Louvre which is known for having a very high profile clientelle, but us average fashionistas can always find something there too!
PS-I ran into Karl Lagerfeld while trying to get up the stairwell.

Latest Obsession…riding boots

Although I’m typically I heel sort of girl, I’m totally obsessed with riding boots.  I’m not sure if it’s from growing up on a farm, but I love the near practicality of these boots.  I just picked up a pair at a second hand shop in Paris that has a similar shape.  These are by Frye, and are available at Anthropologie.
