Hmmm…splatter paint? Libertine and Anne D are looking a bit Nitsch. Are they trying to re-enact the story of creation? Are they violently expressing themselves on blank canvasses to step away from imagery? Is this a bridge for Libertine to step away from their stale clip-art spot prints, or is it just a trite art-school attempt at being avante?
I’m not even going to get into Marla and Dirty Diana, let’s just try to forget…Let’s turn our focus to Kara and Zulema who were a true atrocity in both their behavior and in their end product. I’m not sure what the difficulty was with the navy charmeuse, for a base fabric anything would have better than that large circle print. Z has a serious attitude problem which is going to be her demise later in the show. The silhouette of their 2nd attempt conveyed some of Kara’s youthful style, sort of an H+M sort of look. But let’s not forget the muscle man jacket, what is this Dog Bounty Hunter? As for their window display, the concept was too literal, and the NY cutout idea was childish and poorly executed.
Fashion guru Mr. Blackwell has deemed Ms. Spears the Worst Dressed Star of 2005. Although I can think of countless fashion accidents Ms. Brit has been involved in, the incident in the video store, the unfortunate thong, and so on. Her inclusion on the list doesn’t really seem fair because it’s not like she’s a star anymore, it’s as if Blackwell is picking on a frequently photographed civilian.
OMG! Thanks to Lera we have now solved the mystery of the mis-dressed New Year’s maven. It turn’s out it’s none other than Hillary Duff. Funny how we were so drunk on NYE to have thought it may have been MJ Blige or Mariah. My New Years was soooo much fun and didn’t seem like work. I co-hosted Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years Eve Celebration with Ryan Seacrest and a host of talented singers and performers! Can any of our readers identify what celebrity was performing New Year’s Night wearing this Fendi Belt? I have scoured the internet, turned to the Associated Press, harassed the boys from NPR, but apparently everyone was too drunk to know who was on the tube with such horrid style.
The anonymous performer was committing the following fashion offenses:
1) A beret
2) Bad Fendi belt-I don’t care what Karl says about Silvia; I’m just not seeing it.
3) Angled/Side Pony Tail

So Sean Lennon has publicly decided to stay single after he asked the New York Post to help him find a lady to start off the new year. They stated that he “half seriously” complained about needing help finding a girlfriend. Well Sean, I half seriously think you are winy and pathetic.

I found these shoes today on Nordstrom’s shoe page, Camper has disgraced themselves with this boot. Perhaps I am being too conservative in demanding that both shoes be the same, but I think this is unacceptable. It reminds me of a home how-to massage video I saw from the 80′s where the host/instructor is wearing one red high top Reebok and one turq colored shoe.
This boot brags of being one’s playful pets in cozy supple suede. To think of ones shoes as pets is lame. In 2006 we will walk away from bad mismatched footwear and dress each foot equally.
